On the 29th of September, the Otago Museum transformed into a celestial wonderland as it played host to this year’s much-anticipated event: Pharmacy Ball where the theme was Starry Night.
The night started out for many with pre drinks and on arrival to the venue that line into the was out the door. After putting out jackets on the coat rack, a quick stop at the professional photography was essential to capturing those unforgettable moments with friends.
Next we made a b line towards the bar to grab a long white before they ran out; a refreshing treat after losing a few rounds of rage cage only an hour before.
The photo booth was a must-visit, even though the line is always long. We knew we had to get a few more photos before we forgot. The photo strips also make the perfect room décor to hide the mould in our flats.
As the night continued, people swarmed the dance floor, and the music cranked up, playing some bangers courtesy of the Gravity DJ. Even took some requests such as Taylor Swift, making the night that much better.
It was a night to remember, thanks to the hard work of Yunbai and the dedicated ball committee, as well as the support of NZAPS-O for keeping this annual tradition alive. Thank you to Chemist Warehouse for sponsoring this event too. As the evening drew to a close, attendees left with their hearts full of memories and their phones full of stunning snapshots from this enchanting night under the stars. Cheers to another unforgettable Pharmacy Ball!
